Are you ready for our big night out to celebrate Centerpointe Community!?! Mark your calendars for the rain or shine event of October ~ no, not Halloween! It’s the Centerpointe Community Carnival for National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, October 5th from 6 - 8pm! Please note the time for this year's event. In the past, during the HOT August month we held our event later in the evening, but it will be a school night and 6-8pm seemed to work pretty well last year for residents, emergency responders and exhibitors. This year will pretty much be a repeat of last year's PARTY. For the Centerpointe Children...Amoco Federal Credit Union is back to sponsor a bounce house and many new carnival arcade games & Kids R Kids will feature fun carnival treats and be there to talk about our closest and newest weekly childcare facility. For those stay-at-home of hourly childcare we've invited Merry Poppins to give a good spoonful of sugar via Cotton Candy. Pawsh will be back with Machinzy the pig and Goochi the giant poodle with an opportunity for the kids to groom their own bobble-head pet with paint. We are hoping for a special performance by the girls from Sonic Cheer! While the list continues for our young, we have a lot of fun planned for our Centerpointe young-at-heart as well. Meritage and Brighton Homes are planning to THANK YOU with more fun and food venues! Taqueria Arandas, Wing Stop and Bombay Tadka, your nearest or newest Bay Area restaurants will fill your evening with tasty treats and/or fun for the whole family. Also returning this year is Centerpointe's closest animal care provider: Animal Kingdom (just off Hwy 96 & Hwy 3). RediClinic PNs will be on hand to check blood pressure and offer discounts for outpatient needs. Kevin Kopp with Farmers Insurance will offer a free "family safety" software ($100 value) program to any interested resident and this year he will bring a professional photographer to photograph you, your family and even your pet if you would like. Speaking of Cameras... you may want to get a shot with our County Commissioner Ken Clark; District Clerk: Latonia Wilson; League City's Mayor Toni Randall & other elected officials as the word is out: Our NNO celebration is THE BIGGEST IN GALVESTON CO! We will also have Centerpointe resident business owners on hand...Kim Hegwood provides estate planning for every generation. Jamie Moorehead, proprietor of Lanie Bug Bowtique will be there to exhibit her hand-made selection of themed bows. Your closest Healthy dessert provider YogurtBear will participate this year by offering fresh-made yogurt smoothies and special coupons for everyone. I asked our other bay colony neighbor Pride Liquor & Wine (HEB center) to come provide free Tequila shots for everyone! He and the LCPD said NO WAY, so I asked if he would sponsor 100Lbs of Ice for snow cones.

This and more than 20 total sponsors will provide gifts via our NNO resident attendee raffle (at 8PM), so PLEASE make plans to be there for this FREE-for-YOU, Centerpointe resident event from your Centerpointe NWP. Come join us, Come Hungry and Come meet your neighbors on Tuesday, Oct. 5th from 6 - 8 PM!
